NO. 20 TEXAS LONGHORNS READY TO MAKE THEIR MARK IN THE ALAMO BOWL AGAINST NO. 12 WASHINGTON HUSKIES

The college football bowl season is here, and the Texas Longhorns are excited to be a part of it once again. After a disappointing season that saw them miss out on the postseason in Steve Sarkisian's second year as head coach, the No. 20 Longhorns (8-4) are ready to make their mark in the Alamo Bowl against the No. 12 Washington Huskies (10-2). According to DraftKings, Texas is a 3.5-point favorite in this matchup.

Leading the way for the Longhorns is quarterback Quinn Ewers, who has had a solid season thus far. Ewers has thrown for 1,808 yards and 14 touchdowns, with six interceptions. He'll look to continue his strong play and lead the Longhorns to victory in the Alamo Bowl.

This will be the Longhorns' 58th bowl appearance in program history, and their fifth in the last six seasons. They'll take on the Huskies in the 30th annual Valero Alamo Bowl on December 29 at 8:00 p.m. CST in the Alamodome. The game will be broadcast on ESPN, so be sure to tune in and support the Longhorns as they look to end the season on a high note.
