The Texas Longhorns baseball team emerged victorious in an exhilarating showdown against the Miami Hurricanes, clinching a 10-6 victory in the NCAA Coral Gables Regional. The game took place on Sunday night at Alex Rodriguez Park, leaving the Longhorns with an impressive 3-0 record in the regional tournament.

With this remarkable win, the Longhorns (41-20) have advanced to the Super Regional for the third consecutive season, marking the 13th time in the program's history that they have achieved this feat.

Key Players Shine in the Regional

Dylan Campbell, the talented Longhorns player, continued his record-breaking hitting streak, extending it to an astonishing 38 games. Campbell's contribution was crucial to the team's success, going 1-for-4 with a run scored. Jalin Flores played a significant role in securing the victory with a grand slam in the third inning, ultimately serving as the game-winning runs.

Thrilling Comeback and Dominant Pitching

The Longhorns faced an early setback as the Hurricanes grabbed a 3-0 lead in the second inning with a three-run home run. However, Tanner Witt, pitching for Texas, showcased his skills by allowing only one hit during his two innings of work.

Charlie Hurley, stepping in from the bullpen, provided stability to the game, pitching 4.1 innings and conceding three runs on four hits. Guillemette, Thomas, Campbell, and Flores were all named to the Coral Gables Regional All-Tournament Team, solidifying their place among the tournament's top performers.
