In a recent development, Texas Rangers' right fielder Adolis García underwent an MRI on his right forearm following a collision with second baseman Marcus Semien during Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Manager Bruce Bochy provided an optimistic update, stating that the MRI results "came out pretty good."

The collision occurred in the sixth inning when García and Semien both attempted to track down a Taylor Ward pop fly. While Semien seemed more shaken from the impact, Bochy noted that García "took a pretty good shot there from Marcus." Despite the collision, both players remained in the lineup for the entirety of the game, which ended in an extra-innings win for the Rangers.

García was initially slated to start as the designated hitter in Sunday's game against the Angels but was ultimately scratched from the lineup after the initial release.
